Silly Mistakes Led To Wasted Opportunity-Marcos Alonso

‘When you lose, you learn. We have to analyse the game and improve quickly because there is no time to think. We have to perform again in four days.’

We missed the chance to go nine points clear of Arsenal, and instead now just three points separate us, in fourth place, from them and Manchester United, in fifth and sixth respectively.

‘It was a good opportunity,’ acknowledged Alonso. ‘We wasted it and now we have to work even harder to stay in a Champions League position and win games. It has to motivate us.’

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta spoke to Chelsea TV after the loss and echoed Alonso's thou
